Played Aruja GC yesterday. It was really good. Was founded by Japanese business men in the 40's. Still a mostly Japanese club in Brazil. Probably the best conditioned Bermuda putting greens I've seen anywhere (you can kinda see it in the last pic of 18 green). Par 3's were all really good.

I remember when I went to Peru in 2016, the presidential election was between a Polish American Jewish guy (Pedro Pablo Kuczynski) and a Japanese Peruvian Socialist (Keiko Fujimori). South America is a pretty wild melting pot.

Anybody golf Ballyhack in Roanoke, VA? Couple of buddies and I purchased a stay and play package from Dormie Network at a fundraiser and we're probably going to pick that course. Unfortunately, Graybull and Dormie Club were left off the list. Also, any other good courses around there? Thinking about playing a different course the day we fly in.
