Golf Thread

Yeah, Tiger’s problems had zero to do with the women, etc. He’s still probably greatest ever from a mental standpoint and could easily compartmentalize all of that. It’s all injury/training related and then the obvious pain killer abuse that came from all of the injuries. I think we all know he was hopped up on goof balls the day he crashed his car and almost lost his leg.
TBH I played golf today after having somewhat of a late night and not getting laid but was incredibly tired. It was absolutely horrible. I’m a 3.1 and shot 89. The fact he could live that life and play at the level he did is wild or even Anthony Kim in his prime. Those guys have another gear that no one else does.

Great run by Scottie here and he’s clearly the best player in the planet by a significant margin IMO.

As a comparison, from 1997 to 2009, Tiger won 29% of his starts and 26% of the majors. All Scottie needs to do is increase his win percentage and keep on the same pace for the next 10 years to catch up with Tiger. I think it’s easy to lose sight of how insane Tiger’s run was, given how routine and inevitable it seemed at the time.
