Maybe him being off his meds could explain the 40 pound drop in weight from spring ball to fall ball. Either way, if we knew he had severe schizophrenia we shouldn’t have took him in the first place. Imo

Before this extremely severe mistake there had been no behavioral issues with him. Rhule went out of his way to say the kid deserves a waiver.
Not sure I fault anyone for taking a kid you’d gotten a glowing review on from a staff member at Georgia who had gone a long time without issue.

TC - are you serious that you don't know he had issues at UGA & LSU? None of it seems to be reported but by reading UGA fans posts about Gilbert, it sure seems he had some very very bizarre behavior in the locker room, at practice & among team interactions.
To say "what other shit?" seems a little obtuse. You know he had some major issues there. That's why he's not there any more.
My guess is whatever illness he has has been worsening since he had day one at LSU.

He left LSU and they did everything to keep him and I can’t really find anything that has been documented on things one would consider “other shit” during his time in Georgia. So if you’re going to take a shot at a kid, I’d like it to be based in fact.
So again, what other shit are we talking about? If we’re talking about Omar Manning in 2020, I’m sorry but that’s certainly not good enough reason to not take a kid. Now if we are talking Maurice Washington we can certainly all agree.
