I watched the lsu national championship when Aranda was their DC... It amazed me how simple the back end of that defense was.
As complicated as it can seem, the back end usually only has a few checks and calls, the techniques within each call is what makes a defense in the backend. Are you MEG, MOD, MES. Once one understands that aspect, defense becomes a lot simpler to understand.
