@slattimer the one good RB run I felt was a mid zone with about 30 seconds left in the 1st. It looked like a different blocking scheme honestly. Oddly enough this was an odd front, but you actually got a good push.

For those of you that know more about collegiate level offensive lineman, what is the issue with ours?

Everyone says their size is there so what is it? Just not old enough to be men, apparently they’re gaining muscle and shedding bad weight, so are they just pussies for their size?

Is it truly technique and not muscle/size?

Hard to tell how much is lack of talent/strength. They aren't midgets. They don't get a push or play with aggression. I bet Dan Young and Milt could mold these guys into a very solid bunch tho. Food for thought, it might be partly or largely coaching and scheme/technique.

According to Zatechka on his podcast, he blames a lot of the struggles in the run game on the technique they're being taught. He described it as they're being taught to "shield" instead of blow people off the ball.

Yeah I brought up the Zatechka blocking comments a while ago and @slattimer and Tru debunked it. I guess the blocking schemes are the exact same.
