End of Game Play Calling

Are you in favour of a change at OC after the season is over? Or would you prefer to keep Satt?
Think that depends on who you can get.

You’d think there are better options for $1.5 million by default, though.

I’ll add: it’s uncommon having an OC that isn’t a QB coach so how does that impact what a new OC wants to do and having Thomas on staff.

Even if he wasn’t, Satt was still the one who designed this playbook.
I agree, that's true. And even if he had lots of input from others, he is probably packaging the selection of plays from the playbook that plan to focus on every week

I don’t care who was calling plays at the end of the game. But whoever it was. Should be fired and then deported out of the country for that absolute pussy ass fucking travesty of pathetic failure shit show.

That was the most pathetic and feeble shit I’ve ever seen. Straight scared. Just pathetic. And there should be some accountability for that absolutely choke job. You had a chance to win the game. And you tucked your small Peter in your belly and called probably the worst sequence of absolute shit in the history of football.

You don’t even give your dude a chance to spin it and make a play. What an absolute failure.

Fuuuuuuuucccccckkkk

I liked what he did today.

But last series was a complete train wreck as is already being discussed.

It was more than the last series. How many WR screen pass plays (or any screen pass play for that matter) does a 1.4 mil OC need to see lose yards per game to realize those plays should not be part of your game plan any longer? I bet the hit rate on them is under 5% successful.

And then the run game - way too vanilla and easily sniffed out. Not enough different blocking schemes, or looks for an opposing defense to have to adjust to. Plus, rarely ever a play action pass off a run look. How about play action and boot for a try?

Just not good enough play calling or game planning by our OC.

Agreed.

How about earlier when we hadn’t scored a TD all game, make it into the red zone and immediately go gimmick with Haarberg and lose yards. Even Klatt said that maybe wasn’t needed.
Sometimes it feels like this staff cares way more about fan perception than they should, which leads to fan service bullshit like randomly putting Haarberg in while we’re cooking on a drive and stubbornly running it 4 times up the centers ass on goal to go. Overreacting to criticism of last years late game pick against Maryland by going conservative and essentially playing for overtime the next week against Wisconsin.

Got dayum you don't pay attention. Rhule called the timeout just before the OL player went down. Rhule TRIED to get the refs to give the timeout back, because often they will in that situation.

Pay. Attention.
Sheesh you nag worse than my wife

Wonder if Satt was ever taught play action? Running game working or not I'd of tried it.
I really liked draw this game. Seemed like the defenders and blitzers left the A gap open all game, why Raiola was scrambling so easily. Also a lot of cover two so easy 10+ of open space past the line when they ran verts.

Dude is straight up broken record, and obviously doesn't really pay attention.
Nah man I was watching on my phone in between my sons tball game and daughter cheer competition

Not putting the phone up to my ear to hear the volume.
