This is multiple times I've seen this and is just disingenuous. They were playing zone and Purdy either didn't see him or didn't get the pass up over him to a wide open Fidone. Watch any NFL game and this happens every week. It's not like it's some unheard of thing...

The defense buckled multiples time in critical end of game situations. Really frustrating given how good they were for 59 minutes of those games.

Sad part is he did excellent job of avoiding Fidone most of the game.

He was absolutely playing zone…. 8 yards in front of the intended receiver guarding grass
