I think the ‘worse’ option would have been something I heard kicked around in social media, and that was to not replace Foley with anyone and just have Rhule or some combination of assistants handle special teams. With how many games our shitty special teams ended up playing a major role in, I hope that was never seriously considered and was just message board noise.
