After reading this thread, here is how I dream things will play out:
OC/QB - Chad Morris
Proven P5 experience and runs an offense that fits but I believe we want to see. Amazing recruiting connections to Texas
RB/Special Teams - Larry Porter
Worked with Morris at Auburn in 20. Proven RB coach with solid Special Teams experience
WR/Recruiting - Mickey Joseph
Great recruiter who has done nothing but put dudes in the league.
OL - Bill O'Boyle
Just look at him. He is everything I want in an OL coach. No P5 experience, but @slattimer wants him, and that's good enough for me!

If this were to happen, I 100% would be back on board. Unfortunately, I'd say that there is less than >1% of this happening...

I would just like to see a staff in place in the next 48 hours or so. It's absolute chaos in CFB right now and any school with their ducks in a row could pick up some nice players out of the portal or other schools classes

Bingo. When Brian Kelly essentially "ghosts" his entire staff and team at Notre Dame ... a team that will likely be in the playoffs this year because Notre Dame ... you'd better be executing contracts STAT before the music stops playing. I hope we've got our new coaches lined up, signed, sealed and delivered because if we don't, we're fooked.

Any worry about Harrell taking the spot as Fresno's HC now that DeBoer went to Washington? Saw it on some poorly written article that he may be their top guy to go after.

The single worry that I have is Lincoln Riley attempting to retain Graham Harrell. I don’t know if that is a thought Lincoln Riley has had as it sounds like he’s bringing his OC Bedenbaugh with him (Bedenbaugh is suppose to coach OU through the bowl game). I think we’ll know more today on it. When I say that, I meanI think we’ll know more about Lincoln Riley and Graham Harrell today.

This is my thought as well. Add to that Riley is expected to bring his current OC with him after OU’s bowl game and I’m not seeing much appeal for Harrell to stay. But I do know that him and Riley were suppose to have a conversation. So we will see.
