Yeah not a huge deal. Just adding context because you can piece it all together if people have seen him other nights. Where there is smoke, there is fire as I always say. The fact it’s coming from a college account too seems like you can throw up a yellow caution flag on it maybe being true. As a former student at UNL I can tell you that post doesn't mean shit. Whoever runs the account probably saw Sims downtown or heard from someone that they saw Sims downtown and the tweeter was so pissed during the game that he spun it how he wanted in order to make Sims look even worse.

If any fan/student is keeping tabs on players' bar habits more than that, they are insane, or THEY are at the bars every single night which says something else anyway. Plus, many college players visit bars, one random tweet from a Barstool dork isn't enough to persuade me that Sims has an off-field problem haha.

Let's face it, if you are tall and black you are going to stand out from the crowd in Lincoln and thus be more noticeable/memorable for student dorks. Every player who was rumored to "be out at the bars all the time!!" when I was at UNL fit that description too.

We'll see how much Rhule actually hates turnovers with what he does with Sims. Guy is a turnover machine. Not sure I've ever seen a P5 QB stare down receivers that hard.

Honestly I don't know. I doubt it. But if Sims keeps turning the ball over like he did last night we will have to try other options. More likely they'll find a way to address the turnover issue with Sims. Not sure how, we already barely threw it last night, 19 attempts. Maybe shorter/less complex routes, RPOs, etc.

The problem with switching to Purdy is that it was Sims's legs that kept us in the game for a half. If we had decent talent at WR, you could make the argument that you want Purdy in there to take advantage. But based on what we saw last night, Sims's legs are probably necessary enough that they just have no choice but to try to find a better way to manage him in the passing game.
