I'm actually all for this strategy. Take a guy that you like, but that spot isn't guaranteed. Don't stop recruiting that position and take the best you can get.

Yeah, for me that was a real head scratcher offering him. Seemed more like a Colo St, Tulsa or Kansas level recruit. Didn't seem that impressive. Generally get an idea of their level of talent by who else ahs offered them. I have no idea who else we beat out for his previous commitment. I like the new backs they have brought in much better

He was the transfer was who coming from A&M. When he got to campus, he expected to move in. Dean broke the story that he was ineligible and he tweeted at the media saying he was still N.

Turns out he was ineligible and had to go back to A&M for the semester. We ended up taking Grant. This guy has been off and on tweeting that he’s in, taking Nebraska stuff off his profile, putting it back on, saying GBR. Now he’s gone
