I think Rhule and Co deserve a lot of credit here. They threw everything they had at Raiola and gave us a legit shot. Ultimately they obviously didn't get him. But then to get your #2 guy not even a week later. Perfectly played.
It's going to take a while for our minds and hearts to adjust to having a fully functional adult HC who has no personal issues or agendas other than doing his job. I'll always remember the quote about the coaching staff's amazement at how grateful Husker fans have been for them just doing their jobs. It would be really hard for anyone not a Husker fan to understand, Maybe Alabama fans felt this way when Satan took over?
With all of the talent in state for the 24 class, FHCSF would not be where we are so far. We’ve got a long ways to go with this class but I think Rhule arrived at the right time. Just wish he would have had time to flip Flores too…

Agreed. Nice to have a 3 star kid in the backyard that’s a husker fan. Not always the case in state.

Benning (after Alvano) was the best player in the state championship game this past season. He was reading Flores like a book in that first half. Kid might not have the biggest frame, but he knows the game.
Feels like the whole list is a take and a fully husked at that
But do you offer the other rezac kid and to try and get both
DK is a big positive for Nebraska. With the portal you no longer have to worry much about missing your evaluation on a HS kid. So there is no downside to getting a popular local who might pull with him 3 or 4 other good local guys. The class is going to be small as well, so a few more local guys and then try to hit home runs with some highly rated out of state guys.

Agreed. Missed a bunch of time due to injury and still looked athletic and made some great, instinctual plays on the ball.
