If it happened to a dude who did absolutely nothing to deserve it, yes we would.

That wasn’t the case here. When you talk Colorado levels of shit, you get hit. They’re playing the biggest game of “Fuck around and find out.” And last night they found out.
Do it in a legal hit then.

What that CSU kid did was chicken shit stuff.

Agreed. It was a late hit with ill intention, but when you talk as much shit as Colorado does, they are inviting it. Time to pay the piper. The hit on Sanders in OT was similar, it was a bit late and with ill intentions, but when you act like they do, you are going to attract some extra physicality. I'm not condoning it and thought the flags were warranted, but I also understand that extra shit talking attracts extra physical action against you. It's part of the game that Colorado wants to play, which is silly for as paper thin as their roster is.

I'm not saying I condone playing like that, but if you are going to run your mouth about a team publicly, don't be surprised when someone takes a shot like that as retribution. You don't earn respect by running your mouth, even if you win. You only earn disdain and whatever comes with it, legal or not.

Ultimately, Deion is coaching his kids to get hurt. Norvell says one little quip to throw some shade. It was obvious that he was doing it to get a little rise out of his team. To not let them dictate the conversation about what a team is allowed or not allowed to do. Deion took it hook, line, and sinker. Makes a mockery out of it publicly, hands out shades and hats out to the team. It was joke to CU, but CSU actually did take it personal and all he did was fuel that more. Well guess what? Congrats, you won a game that you were favored by 3 touchdowns. But you lost your best DB and WR for at least a few weeks? Ultimately, CSU won't give a shit they lost a game that they weren't supposed to win. They took Hunter out for at least a weeks and that will victory for them.

Shedildo will be next. Defense's will be looking to hurt him, not just tackle. He's taking a lot of shots and that's not going to go down. I will be surprised if he survives the season.

Colorado has set the rules of the game…fuck around and find out.

Let’s not be surprised when your opponent steps up to your rule set.

If you are gonna talk the talk, better be prepared to walk that walk.

Suh was dirty as fuck too but it’s all good when it’s your guy kicking some ass and taking names. You want defensive players with a nasty mentality.
Suh also didn’t talk shit in the media. I’m sure he did on the field. But, that is also one man that can back it up as there are very few people who were gonna fuck with him and see what happens.

Sheduer and Hunter are both like 180lbs. Basically ever defender they go against, minus a few DBs, are going to be at least the same size, if not twice the size. And like you said, you want your defensive players to have a nasty streak. The cheap shot wasn’t necessary at all, though, as both of them are going to continue to take beatings every week.

I do have to give Sheduer credit, he is tough. He has taken a ton of shots through 3 weeks and just keeps going. He has no problem hanging onto the ball (for too long) and standing in the pocket.

The point I’m trying to make is football is a violent sport and you want some guys who are a little dirty on your team. Especially in the lines. I would love to have a Richie Incognito type on this line. Guys like Richie make the other guys tougher too.

It's a must to have a someone on the line that is chippy and a little crazy. Those are big guys that's scares the other team. Nobody scared of getting hurt by a 180lb Hunter or Shedildo. They are talented as skill players, but it comes to getting physical and hitting someone, they don't scare anyone. Hunter is a skilled ballhawk corner, but he's not running downhill to lay someone out.

Reminds me of this

The thing that pissed me off more than anything is that Deion humiliated 2 very respectable programs (NU and TCU) who didn't really clap back so he just assumed he could keep doing this every week with zero repercussions. So he does it AGAIN week 3 and this time the opponent goes out and destroys the spleen of your best player on YOUR sideline right in your fucking face. And now he's out for a month.

I'm really curious if anyone in the CU camp was like "maybe showing zero class & humiliating our opponents every week before the game ISN'T the smartest thing to do." 🤷‍♂️🤔

Tweet below: I'm sure this guy is just making this up ...but in this case I'd guess he's probably accurate. There's got to be SOME traditionalists among the CU booster base who think Deion should tone it down about now.
