I'm no expert, but I'm guessing the Vegas sports books would get involved in this. If they legitimately cannot set a line for a rematch, I gotta think it would not happen.

I know Spence has a guaranteed rematch trigger, but if his payday is $73 for the rematch, I'd have to think he'll end up passing on it. But again I'm not an expert in this area.

Spence was night & day difference after he went down in the 2nd & Bud was done evaluating him
Spence was the aggressor in the 1st & Bud let Spence get comfortable being the aggressor
Then Spence met Buds counter & her never tasted power like that before
Then Bud kept giving it to him
This was an all time dismantling. Spence will take another payday in a rematch but the outcome won’t be different. This was a career ender. A fighter late in his career doesn’t come back from being son’d like that
Bud is an all time great. Crazy he gets better & more powerful with each fight
Once in his career Bud was considered a “technical fighter who lacked power”

If Spence don't want the smoke and the Vegas bookies can't set a line, there'll be no rematch.

I mean, Spence ducked him for so long and now we know why. He knew he didn't want to fight him. I'd say zero chance for a rematch honestly.

They said after the match the loser has 30 days to trigger a rematch.

They asked Spence afterwards and he said “Hell, yes there’ll be a rematch. Maybe in December.” He also said he hope it happens at the next weight class up.

But of course he was seriously concussed at the time, so you probably douse that with several grains of salt.

I was just reading something that basically said his only options are to:
- fight nobodies at his current weight
- move up
- fight catch weight fights

I can't imagine any of those three sound good to him at this point in his career
