Prime might have the cache to haul in elite recruits consistently at the Power 5 level. However he is currently coaching in a league where Coordinators don't even earn 100k, and most of the talent is D2 level or worse.

In a sense, he has a Group of 5 type roster playing vs a bunch of UNK caliber teams.

And if he played in the Missouri Valley Conference, his team would have 2 to 3 losses by now despite their elite talent.

I hate saying stuff like this because it sounds bad, but a school like Nebraska would never hire a coach like Dion.

With how he talks. How he walks. His swagger.

It undoubtedly would piss off quite a few people in this state and that's sad.

Nebraska would hire a guy like Leipold over a guy like Dion for obvious reasons.

I wouldn't say this over one ONE because it would trigger the writers, even though there's truth to it.
