Prove me wrong.
Mrs Saban iircWho is the Mrs. Terry he refers to?
Bump we should have hired the dude.
You are right, but neither would Alabama, tOSU, Texas, Michigan, Georgia, basically any major college program. It's not just the way he acts, but what he does. Zero recruiting visits, that won't fly at any program that is truly serious about the program. Sanders makes it about himself, like Fleck does, neither will get a job at a top school, where the school's brand is important, not pushing the coach's brand.I hate saying stuff like this because it sounds bad, but a school like Nebraska would never hire a coach like Dion.
With how he talks. How he walks. His swagger.
It undoubtedly would piss off quite a few people in this state and that's sad.
Nebraska would hire a guy like Leipold over a guy like Dion for obvious reasons.
I wouldn't say this over one ONE because it would trigger the writers, even though there's truth to it.
Kiffin is doing a similar methodology as Sanders, but he's doing it in the SEC and doing it successfully. Sanders is doing ok in the Big 12, which is a real mess right now. There is a real possibility that the Big 12 champion could get the 12th seed instead of the 4th seed in the playoff. Boise State could end up ranked higher than any Big 12 team.Prime might have the cache to haul in elite recruits consistently at the Power 5 level. However he is currently coaching in a league where Coordinators don't even earn 100k, and most of the talent is D2 level or worse.
In a sense, he has a Group of 5 type roster playing vs a bunch of UNK caliber teams.
And if he played in the Missouri Valley Conference, his team would have 2 to 3 losses by now despite their elite talent.
Except Kiffin actually recruits.Kiffin is doing a similar methodology as Sanders, but he's doing it in the SEC and doing it successfully.
