If Sims starts the whole season he will lose more game for NU than Petras even did for Cockeye. The kid is a retard. He is on par with Tanner Lee as one of the biggest fuckups at qb to be anointed the starter from day one. He can’t even handle easy snaps or handoff correctly.

I'm not arguing Sims is good. Petras was fucking terrible too though. They spent 4/5 years with Petras starting for 3.

There really is no reason to stick with Sims this year unless Satterfield comes up with some magic to minimize mistakes which probably isn’t possible. Play HH or Purdy and see if one is a gamer.

I think the thing that is most alarming to me is that Rhule/Satt.....or at least Rhule, thought they could correct his turnover issues. I think the majority of issues right now are personnel based, as opposed to bad coaching. Some can be coached to correct turnover issues, but the vibe I get from Sims is that isn't possible. He seems so lost out there beyond just turnovers. WTF did he run out of bounds stopping the clock just before half. The whole team needs more self-awareness.

I cannot recall who was all in the portal at the same time as Sims. With our luck, I'm sure it was someone we don't know about that has 7 TD's so far this year, with one interception, and no fumbles.

I would play each of them in the next two non-con games; especially...(ESPECIALLY) if Sims turns it over in the 1st half again Saturday. You've got to find someone to provide a spark to this offense.

I only gave Sims a D- bc of his rushing yards (which count for something).

Also he'd had 3-4 really costly drops (that weren't his fault). If those 4 passes were caught they would have been huge for each game.

I agree but if he wins 5-6 games it’s one of the better coaching jobs. On paper his assistants are better than ours outside the DC.

On paper, maybe, but in real game action? Shit, Coach Donnie takes so much shit on here, but the vaunted O Line Coach for CU's crew gives up 8 sacks and who knows how many hurries... So far, our defensive coaches look pretty good. LB and DL play has been light years better.

To be fair Colorado’s line talent pretty much sucks on both sides. This is how we thought we had a shot to win the game. Unfortunately Sims is retarded.

I'm just trying to understand logic here. On our OL, all I read about is how awful our talent is. Cochran sucks, Benhart sucks, Piper sucks... But our OL issues are all Donnie's fault. Colorado has bad OL talent according to some, but their issues are just because of talent and not coaching.

Dame on the DL. Read all off season how Robinson and Huntmacher suck and how we've got now talent at rush end. Yet our DL is playing pretty well, so do the players not suck it is the coaching actually good?

I honestly don’t think our lines are garbage. Benhart has got better. 69 needs to go or move to guard and he might suck there. All I know he is putrid at tackle.
