It doesn’t matter we are going 3-9 no matter who trots out there.

Sign Up Now!I'm finding it hard to care at this point. It's gonna be somewhat controversial no matter who it ends up being, if anyone, and I don't hate the idea of going into next season with Smothers being the guy. And it doesn't matter who it is if Raiola can't get the OL playing with a little fuckin attitude.
It’s not hate. This is Frost’s last stand and you’d think he’d want to find as close to a sure thing as he could at the QB spot. Purdy is nowhere near a “sure thing”.Not sure the hate on Chubba is warranted
But there's literally nothing that says taking chubba precludes you from taking another QB. I know it isn't common to land 2 portal QBs, but Chubba is a freshman eligibility wiseIt’s not hate. And maybe that's the best thing about Purdy - he isn't Scott's boy. Whipple is super high on him and Scott has reservations because he doesn't see what he has to offer over Smothers. If we end up landing Purdy, that's a huge win for me because it shows that Frost is taking a step back and conceding to the coaches he brought in. JMOseems like a major stretch to think this boy could save 2022 for us, but Scote has been wrong many times in the past.
Has Thompson even played at all, or he is one of those highly rated QB's that rode the bench? RSS loves to fall in love with people who are highly ranked but haven't done shit once they got to college.Sounds like Casey Thompson is a legit possibility according to RSS. That would make a ton of sense if that is so.

Thanks. I don't follow Texas and really don't care to.He was the starting QB at Texas.
What’s crazy is that there’s an expectation that 2022 is a banner year where we should expect to win 6+ games. It’s a rebuilding year where we’re replacing a 4 year starting qb along with most the offensive coaches. Also rebuilding most the of the defense.
If it was a situation with a new HC stepping in, as it should’ve been, this would be year 1 of a 3-4 year reboot.
In summation - 3-9.
I think there’s a lot to like with this kid. He’s also much more athletic than a guy like Myles Brennan. Not a blazer, but can move a little.
