Breaking Children’s Gift Ideas

Is a meta quest the VR game my 6 yr old would be asking about?
I’ve heard adults even say it’s fun. The reason I didn’t get them that is because they have enough shit, and I didn’t want to spend time configuring it to the PS 5. My BIL is good at that shit, and it would probably just frustrate me.

Does it have to be calibrated to a PS5 or can it stand alone?

What are some great gifts you’ve got your children that they absolutely loved?

Boys (12, 6 & 5)
Girl (3)

My 6 yr old boy really wants a VR thing which is around $300-$400. They already spend enough time on their Nintendo Switches and IPads. Is there a place to rent them where you can test how much they’ll like them or are they worth the money?

I’m more of a buy your kids a gun/bow/something outdoors kind of guy but being stuck in the city has their immediate interests in a different place right now.
Got our 5 year old daughter a Yoto Player Mini this year and she loves it.

I always buy my nephews Lego car/plane/toy/etc sets and then we put them together, so I get to spend some time with them doing that

And then they have something to decorate their room afterward
