It was a stupid post to begin with. Michigan was dominant in the first half. Alabama was very fortunate to only be down 3. Not to mention, Michigan's uncharacteristically bad special teams allowed Alabama to get and hold that lead. And Michigan was favored going in. This was at minimum a 50/50 type game.

I don't like these late penalties on late slides by QBs. Either slide earlier or take the hit if the defender is already there.

No kidding. If the QB times it just right it's virtually impossible for the defender to avoid a late hit
