I think the "good depth only makes the team better" comment changes how you take this doesn't it? I read it as - "I can't BATTLE my teammates...I battle WITH my teammates" mentality. I think it's a very noble stance to take. Says I'm here to compete with them, but we are all pulling for the same goal.
