There was an opportunity to sit down and talk about Nebraska’s offense and how they plan to use Bair. The Huskers want weapons to take advantage of defenses when they adjust.

“The majority of what they said was they were going to run the ball a ton and they are going to try and pull those safeties down. Then a RPO or a shot deep is where they see be being able to extend the field. I can keep the defense on their toes.

“It puts the defense in a tough situation. They are going to want to fill the box because Nebraska is going to want to run the football and they aren’t going to be able to fill the box because I will be out there. They like me on drags through coverage. Motioning me around to create mismatches and throwing the ball up and let me go get it.”

This means the heavy run game talk isn’t just talk. Its intention. You don’t recruit highly sought after receivers by bragging about how much you are going to run the ball unless it will be reality.

Idk. Reading his visit write up, it almost sounded like he didn’t have the green light. He talked about setting up visits to other schools and hoping to get back to Nebraska at some point. We’ve had lots of highly rated TE’s in recently. Maybe he’s not at the top of the list?

The fact that he hasn't committed yet makes me think you may be right.

It's unfortunate though, if that is the case. He is the type of athlete that you bring in no matter what IMO. Has a great build for a TE already, but wouldn't be surprised at all if he put grew it and ended up on the OL - WiscyDicks made a killing with that model. He also has a great frame for the otherside of the ball at DE.
