Somehow Mickey J and staff are still bringing in 50+ visitors - no officials though. Notice an instate QB that hasn’t been interested in quite a while. Coleman was also supposed to be going to USC this weekend.

According to Mongo so far:
2023 Commits:
Benjamin Brahmer
Sam Sledge
Gunnar Gottula
Brock Knuston
Dwight Bootle
Maverick Noonan
Hayden Moore

2023 Offers:
Malachi Coleman

2024 Offers:
Dae'Vonn Hall
Daniel Kaelin
Williams Nwaneri
Jaden Hart

2025 Offers:
Carter Nelson
Tyson Terry
KaMori Moore

Other visitors of note:
Branson Noonan
Henry Prochazka

Wonder what the message is to these kids? "You're committing to DONU, not any one person?" Glad the effort is still there, and they certainly need to make connections, especially with in-state players. Just curious how they will be received.

Yeah, I am always curious as to how interim guys recruit in a situation like this. What do you sell? I guess the school? But it’s hard for a kid to commit (or stay committed) to a program without know how the HC is going to be.

I suppose you show off facilities and the on campus experience and put less focus on individual relationships, since you don't know who will or won't be here at the end of Nov. Get them nibbling on the hook and hope the next HC can set it and real them in.

It’s probably not as hard as you think when most of them don’t have real opportunities to go somewhere equal to or better than Nebraska.

Yep. Wouldn't be surprised if USC has told Malachi that he'd be smart to consider going elsewhere.
