Best golf hole in Nebraska?

I don't know if this is a best hole, but it's a hard fucker.

#3 at Hidden Acres in Beatrice. 421 yard par 4, OB left, Creek right, creek @ 208, Creek at 295. Tight as shit sloped fairway. Big motherfucking tree that overhangs in the fairway at the creek @ 295.

It used to be like the 3rd hardest hole in Nebraska 15-20 years ago. But it's a real bitch. If you can rope a baby draw to about 265-275 without going OB, you'll be left with a baby cut of about 175 around this big fucking tree. It's a challenge.

Side note, I won a 1 man scramble there by parring that fucker by ripping a punch basically through the bridge over the 2nd creek.
Going from #2 to #3 at Hidden Acres is quite the change of pace

I actually really enjoy the course. Especially the back to back par 5s on the back. The front has a few challenging holes if you can't position the ball on the correct side. #1 with the narrow inlet as you approach the blind tee shot. Par 5 #6 is virtually impossible to get on in 2 unless you hug the right side.

I haven't played a lot of courses in Nebraska outside of some Lincoln courses and then SE Nebraska courses. I need to get out more.

Have played Beatrice CC and Hidden Acres, Kirkman's Cove is a nice little 9 hole.

I’m right there with you, mainly just play in SE Nebraska. Play a lot of Hidden Acres and the 9 hole at Friend is where my membership is at.

Fucking hate that hole. I’m not good at golf but that hike fucks me eveytime. Really enjoy the course overall though.

My first round of high school Golf was at Kirkman's Cove.

I was playing with @Link- and I broke my putter on like hole 7. So happy @Link- is on the board to confirm this story cuz it sounds fake.

(I finished the round putting with my 8 iron)

My first high school golf tournament was in NE KS. A naïve freshman. Meet my group, and this squirrely fucker opens up his bag and 3 busch lattes fall out. Kind of giggles and said whoops, you guys want one? They're warm, but it's beer. LOL

9 holes, 18 fairways baby

I got a hole in 1 on #5 there when I was a sophomore during golf practice. Shout out to my old Calloway X14 pro series.... you did well my good and faithful servant.
A hole in 1 is impressive no matter where you’re at! I’ve gotten 2 holes in one day but was playing a completely different game…

#5 at Arbor is a great hole
#17 at Quarry is a freaking gem
#6 at Norfolk Country Club is a fun hole. Nothing crazy but I thought it was cool
#16 at Highlands (had to include at least one from Lincoln Public)

These are just holes I really like, probably not commonly considered to be great golf holes.

I love playing Arbor. My wife and I stay at Lied Lodge every fall and get a round in.

this sounds fake or poor… but the best prime rib I have ever had in my life was from the Arbor Lodge

No hyperbole, my family went there for Christmas dinner 1 year and it blew me away. Still think about that prime rib sometimes…it was before modern camera phones tho so alas…all I have is my memory and no picture. 😢

It's a great course. Dormie is building a new course out in the sandhills. That is gonna be fucking baller.

Where are they building it?

My dad loves the Prairie Club (cherry county boy, so obvious bias), but he is always sending me pics from their social media like some fanboy dork.
