Besides wearing Crocs or drinking White Claws....

Genuine question. My daughter is almost a year and a half. I don't know when the showering stuff starts but she's obviously bath only right now. I only ever showered with my mom once when I was little. I'm a guy. No recollection on ever showering with my dad to learn how to shower. I'm sure I did though because of the father son thing. I know it'll come up eventually, is that weird for dads to shower with their daughter for context on learning how to shower? If I have the choice, I'll let my wife do it obviously but is that weird? I don't know. Just asking.
Meh. We have a big walk-in shower with multiple showerheads.
When she was little I would wash her hair for her.
Nothing weird about it unless you're some kind of pedophile freak... which I am not.

Speaking of showers....

When I was a kid I walked in on my mom showering and I asked her "what that was" (pointing at her bush).

She said "My wash cloth".

A couple days later...same thing but she had shaved so i asked "What happened to her washcloth?"

She said "I lost it".

I said "I will watch out for it."

About a week later she was coming home from the store and I rushed up to the car and said "I found it, I found it".

She said "What"

I said "Your wash cloth and the next door neighbor is washing daddy's face with it."

You can stay outside of the shower just so they're comfortable and tell them what to do, but by the age where they're taking showers instead of baths it should be pretty self-explanatory. I know for a fact that I never took a shower with my mom or dad.
Yeah that makes sense. Me and my wife tag team the baths right now but worst comes to worst I always planned on just instructing from outside the shower if need be.
