Behind the scenes with Nebraska football

Dylan is pretty fucking cringe in this. I hope he’s awesome but starting to be too much outside stuff for me. Call me old fashioned but let’s stick to ball
I’m going to try and not be a dick.

That is probably the best he’s ever come off in an interview to me. Why you ask?

His teammates clearly like him and trust him. He’s 19. He answered the questions he was asked and stated multiple times his goal is to win a natty.

I think you are being a fucking idiot to call that cringe. That was one of the best looks at who these kids actually are and how they think and they all seem focused and confident. This makes me feel better about the season, not worse.

Be a dick, I don't give a shit. I didn't love the pieces with DR, and have a way different point of view. I thought the DB's seemed like they were real and didn't get a great vibe from Dylan. I hope they are all focused and confident and they kick ass. We are all Husker fans and want the team to succeed, I think I'm just growing tired of Dylan constantly being singled out from the team, and also laughed when he went all Brian Kelly and changed how he normally speaks. I get it though as a family member of mine (former prominent Husker) did the same thing when he was around the defenders that were black.

I’m sure the way you talk around your buddies is different than how you talk at work or how you talk around your family. I see no difference here.

I watched this and enjoyed more than I maybe thought I would. It was quite entertaining.

I think it very much helped having a guy like Ceyair “moderating” the conversation. Given his background, you can see that he’s incredibly comfortable on camera.

I thought it was great. Really liked seeing the guys interacting in a relaxed setting.

I thought everyone came off well. The only one who was a little awkward was Hugehog. You can tell he's a pretty reserved, quiet dude. When he did talk it was mostly repeating what someone else said. When they were discussin talking trash, he said "I really don't talk" and everyone was like "yeah, we konw." He did have a good story about his recruitment, though.

Ceyair was good. Easy to see why he's a team leader and captain. Kind of funny hearing everyone's reaction to him joining the team and knowing Lebron James. I thought it was semi hilarious when they were talking about Rhule's hand sign being in the shape of the state of Nebraska and Wright says, "I looked it up and it really is shaped like that." He had to look up the shape of the state!

The other best line was Rhule during practice: "Oh, it's raining? Thanks for telling me it's raining." Also like that we saw some clips of Rhule being a hardass in practice. He's such a players' coach that it's good to see him still get on their ass.

I thought the recuriting stories were interesting. Shows how little the players pay attention to that stuff as someone said they didn't konw Dylan was once committed to Ohio State. I enjoyed Singleton's story of first seeing Memorial Stadium. "Three people usually came to my JUCO games. One was the team tutor and another was a player's mom." He seems like a pretty funny dude.

I thought it was really well done, with the produced clips of highlights and narration in between bits. Does CBS do this for a bunch of teams? First I've heard of it.

First I've seen this. Dawgs have Player's Lounge that the collective produces. Haven't seen any other CBS produced ones.
