Leaving the US behind for a couple of years

Yeah, I'll take a chill work/life balance vs toxic hustle culture any day. No one says, "I wish I would have worked more" on their deathbed.
I think the toxic hustle is subjective. As much work as I’ve put in over the years, I’ve never felt like it was toxic by any means.

And, to be fair to their way of living, if they had our work culture it wouldn’t matter because their entire system isn’t built on a consumption reward system. There is no incentive to work harder because your access to convenience is much lower/different than in the US. If you’re an ambitious person who wants to push the limit on how high you can go, the Netherlands isn’t it. To each their own. Appreciative of our time here, just wasn’t for us.

A terrific ex-pat experience you'll be able to reflect on and share for the remainder of your days. With that said, welcome home (soon), amigo.

USA USA USA!!!
