Behind the scenes with A-Mart

He is very accurate. I mean he was damn near 80% last year inside of 20 yards in the air.

I just think he needed dudes who can get open down field.
I’ve always thought in the back of my mind, that his shoulder still has issues and has effected his downfield passing. I’d like that to be proven wrong this year.

I mean look at the Minnesota game... He was something like 13-14 throwing. Benhart gets bull rushed and hits Martinez's arm weird then he finishes 16-27.

I need to ask, but I think he had another off season surgery on it.

Not falling for it.

i am so fucking excited about these weapons. Wandale was good but these 4 dudes are B1G
Wan’Dale would get double covered because we had zero other reliable targets. Allen should become a beast this year if our outside receivers can put some pressure downfield.

Just when i think “damn he’s pretty accurate” he one hops a bubble screen or overshoots an open guy downfield.

Just want to see some consistency and less turnovers this year

I just want to see 70% completion, 3000 yards passing, 1000 yards rushing, 40 total touchdowns, less than 5 turnovers.

When i see a guy who fumbled 7 times in 8 games last year i think maybe he shouldn’t be running the ball 20 times a game. Sure his completion percentage looks good in hindsight but 11 turnovers in 8 games? Yeezus. Not gonna get very many W’s with that.

Hope we get the RBs more involved this year. No Wandale to spoon-feed and keep daddy happy should help.

I’ll have more specifics on QB’s next Friday but Adrian absolutely lit it up yesterday when they did some live stuff with pads. Toure, Manning, Betts, and Fidone might help turn him into a 1st team All-B1G QB this year.
Hasn't the story always been that Adrian looks very good in practice but it hasn't translated to his play during the games? Kinda the same thing we heard about Jurgens where he doesn't have snapping issues in practice but come game time he can look like a Blind Man throwing darts.

Worked out well for everyone. We now apparently have a plethora of weapons and Wandale transferred to a school where he will be the only reliable target and get murdered by even freakier defenders

The receivers will help with that, why do you think Luke couldnt score either. or noah or anyone. our receivers have been complete garbage. i truly believe this year is different
I don’t disagree. I do think a better line would have allowed him to get the blind squirrels a few more nuts though last season.

I don't know if he will start, but I think Martin will be in that group that plays a lot.

If you want a wet blanket..... OL isn't where they want it. Snaps are good FWIW, but OGs have been shaky. Benhart is man.. ;
Possible typo on the Benhart part? O Line isn’t where they want it pass pro wise or run blocking wise? Or both?

Is another issue with Frost and adjustments? It seems he comes out with a solid game plan, but as the game progresses he gets abused by BIG defensive coordinators.

Benhart has been impressive.

Both. It could be because they are trying different combinations. Guys haven't settled in to roles.

The other guy who has been impressive is Ezra Miller.
The new photos of Nourelli have been solid I think. Doesn't look to be carrying too much bad weight anymore.
