I wonder if there's some drama behind the scenes.

a few weeks ago when the coaches were talking up Dylan and publicly saying the upperclassmen needed to rise to his level I wondered if that was going to backfire

I don't know what's going on, but the team chemistry seems pretty poor at the moment

I have no idea if that kind of thing has caused issues. But none of the upper classmen have won shit, all of them have been part of bad, losing, teams.

I think the main thing is that the team as a whole does not believe they are winners. We had an easier OOC schedule this year, and yes they came out with their hair on fire to beat CU, but since then, things haven't been the same. Yes, we "almost" beat Illinois, but the way that game ended in OT was demoralizing. I think the team still has that losers mentality with not much confidence they will win against equal or better competition still.

If there is chaos in the locker room it starts with the coaching staff. I called the obvious rift/whatever with Tony White right after the NIU game. I honestly think its worse than what was hinted in the Nugs. IF..big IF we get to a bowl I'll be shocked if Tony is the DC for the bowl game. I think he's gone the moment the regular season is over. There is going to be some ugly shit that may or may not come out. None of it will make Rhule look good at all. Tony is too much a pro to be the source, but some people are starting to be very unhappy behind the scenes.

I mean is he getting fired tomorrow? No. Would I be surprised if we lose out and then win 4-5 games again next year? Absolutely not. There is really nothing this program does well and that’s obvious when you look at our Big Ten games under Rhule.

Maybe all the retards on this board can shut the fuck up now.

It's tempting but being an insidher isn't my thing. I'll give one hint: Broken promises. Promises made when Tony got hired and promises made to keep him here.

PS good call out for referencing nugs here. I tend to forget that isn't all access. My bad

Yikes! Can't wait to hear this? I just think our whole defensive unit sucks ass. Not one player I would want on my team if I was a coach. Especially the players from Nebraska

I'm a big Tony White fan but let's be honest....he's completely shit the bed in our last 2 big games (vs Illinois, vs Indianus).

I don't think he has any excuses on those two performances. Are you implying that there's friction between Rhule and White and thus that explains why White got outcoached by Illinois and Indianus?

I'm not doubting you. I'm just saying, TW got his lunch eaten by the opposing OCs in those games.

I've watched McCord this year. He's balling out. No hesitation. Very confident. Dylan is a true FR and he's still figuring this out, as you would expect.
