Haarberg was spinning the ball reasonably well during the 2 minute offense. I'm not saying he needs to be out there a lot more, just noting that he looked like a more viable QB than last year, in this small sample size.
I hope Dylan is OK.
But if he's not it might be a blessing to see WTH Heinrich can do. I mean, fuck...I've seen weirder things happen. I've seen a QB change spark a team in the weirdest sort of ways in CFB history.
That doesn't mean that Satt shouldn't be shown the door.
Personally I wouldn't show Satt the door. I'd open up a surprise trapdoor on his ass.
Satt needs to be fired tomorrow. With a bye next week and 2 weeks to prepare for USC, it's the perfect time to do it
I was infuriated by Rhule’s post game presser tonight.
- stating that they keep having to play teams off of their byes…but when we had 2 weeks for Indiana we get WAXED?
- not having the guys to score in the red zone
- talking about how much zero coverage all out blitz got us - THROW A FUCKING PASS TO THE SEAM THEN
- THEN to say they kept beating our man coverage blitzes. Ok - so we just got out fucking played then…

It was probably or maybe said ITT or elsewhere, but Rhule is in tough spot - maybe. That's only if the Raiola's think Satt is the answer. Am I crazy...I'm crazy. Ha ha!

I think its safe to say Rhule isn't having fun anymore. What I noticed most is a complete refusal in his own mind to question the things that need to be questioned.
The offensive scheme and play calling has done him no favors-especially in conference play. Rival DCs have figured him out and Satt and the offensive staff have no answers for how to adjust.
To me his confidence seemingly disappeared after the Illinois game: the missed td pass and then the abominable OT sequence. Add to that the bad Rutgers interception and the play calling issues and here we are.
I remember Raiola's face going into overtime, him and the rest of the team wanted no part of it they were cooked.
DR is overthinking and trying to make the perfect play each time. They need to sprinkle in some bootlegs or something and get him out of the pocket and create some misdirection.
I just don’t get why everyone can throw a quick out against us for 8-10 yards whenever they want, and we can never do that. We tried once in the 2 min drill and Banks set up instead of breaking out and HH threw it too far outside incomplete. I mean, UCLA could do it all night long. Indiana repeatedly marched right down the field doing it. But we can never get yards that easy.
That IT factor Dylan had at the beginning of the year is gone. I used to take such comfort that he was going to find the open guy every time. Now, he just holds the ball way too long and gets sacked or throws it away. If you watch the game from the north or south end zones you see guys running open, but Dylan doesn’t hit them. He has lost confidence. He’s not the same QB he was.
I thought Haarberg actually looked pretty good in his time. Sharp decisive throws, a couple WRs should have/could have come down with but didn’t. I never, I mean never, thought I’d be more confident in Haarberg’s passing over Dylan, but here we are.

Amen. Every other team in college football can do some pretty simple shit that makes it look like you’re a competent offense.
