In on Rhule, but he needs to nut up and make the changes needed. Foley, Satt, Barthell and McGuire all need to be gone at the end of the season. I'm not sure firing them now does anything, but they all need to be gone.

Jeepers!

Are you implying that White had a way he wanted the defense to lineup/execute vs Illinois and Indianus.....but Rhule cockblocked him in each game?

Because if that was true that would be horrific on Rhule. We basically played turnstile defense in both games.

We have enough talent on D where we shouldn't get dominated like we did vs Altmeyer and Rourke.
There's a pretty clear gap in our defense against RPOs that Illinois and Indiana took advantage of. Not smart enough to know what it is, but pretty glaring in each game.

This is my favorite part of the rebuild. The inevitable “I’m out” thread in year 2.
I also think people mean different things by "I'm out"
For me, the scale has tipped to the point where I personally think it's more likely Rhule doesn't work out here than that he does. Like 55-45. He certainly still could, and I hope he does, but I'm out in the sense that I've started my coping process.

I’ll probably need to see how the season finishes before I can say one way or another.

He's fucking shook...I think his stubborn loyalty to some of his assistant coaches will destroy him if he doesn't take action.

Here's something I thought about from previous games. We got 5 wins, but how many of those wins were despite our offense shitting the bed for half the game. Let's even look at the Colorado game, if I remember right, we didn't score at all in the 2nd half.

Indiana is successful because they step on their opponents throat and keep it there. We were sold the excuse that Rhule just wants a win and running up the score doesn't matter. I think they CAN'T run up the score with this team.

Rhule needs to stop trying to make excuses and take action, cause right now he looks scared and lost. Lots of stuttering nervous answers with no substance. I have a very very bad feeling about this.

Agree, that presser was god awful and I don't know if he is cut out for this fan base. It is already starting to wear on him.
