Very good 1st episode. The storyline was easy to follow. Sometimes in fantasy series, there is a tendency to over-complicate the characters and plot. That doesn't seem to be the case with HOD.

She had an emergency c-section with our first and likely will have a scheduled c-section with the next, so I told her we should just skip that scene.

The epi was very good. Felt like I never left westeros.

Felt like it was unnecessarily violent...almost forced at times. Idk, I guess people like that but there are grandchildren watching that show!

The scene with the Hand's daughter and the King in his chamber, did the Hand's daughter get with the King? if so, could she now be pregnant with a possible male heir to challenge the princess's claim to the throne? Probably reading too much into it but it was kind of an odd scene maybe some foreshadowing for some future events.

Thanks, I've only watched the original series, so I don't know much more than that. I guess this is probably common knowledge for the book readers and the others that have gotten more into the story.
