Guys like Burton who have four years of eligibility left may be of interest to replace Henrich and Reimer even if they do play this year.

Even if they don't retire they are hurt a lot need to look at having some depth when they eventually go down again unfortunately.
Or Kpai or Gbayor or Snodgrass or Malcom. I mean if we lose 2-4 of those we’ll need some replenishment at that position.
I'm already figuring Snodgrass is a sure goner (and Malcom has apparently already decided to retire)
An 8 man football players from the middle of nowhere Nebraska is a top 4 TE in the nation. It will always blow my mind
LB is a mess right now Reimer, Henrich, Snodgrass, and Williams are all either hurt or coming off injuries. Then you have Malcom, Kpai, and Gbayor, I'm guessing 2 of those 3 are gone and then it's down to the incoming freshman. I'm guessing that's why we heard walk-on Bullocks name so much this spring. I'm not sure were Chief fits in right now either is he going to play ILB or OLB.
I really do appreciate his athletic gifts but I do think at this time he is overrated. He really doesn't seem to just dominate like you'd expect a top 4 te to do in 8 man.
Didn’t they have Jimari Butler lined up inside some at LB last Saturday? Or am I imagining that?
