This Herb guy knows his stuff
The Kid Mero Showtime GIF by Desus & Mero

It's the one thing I got right in my CFB predictions this year.

I'm just conveniently leaving out the other 99/100 predictions I got wrong. Like a guy who loses $20k in blackjack then brags about winning $15k
And it’s our job to give you shit about the 99

Sorry, I didn’t make the rules

Still don't see 8-4 Herb, but this was far and away Colorado's best game since Sanders has been there. Defense is better ever since Shilo got hurt. They'll never have a good run game, but just the little bit they finally implemented makes their offense much more dangerous, still can't believe how stupid their offense was against us. I was saying 5 wins, but they might get 6, depends on Cincinnati and Texas Tech.

I'd expect that to happen this week. This is seen as a big victory over UCF, not sure why as UCF is nothing special. It will give them a week in the polls before Kansas State beats them.
I heard multiple people talk about how big the win over Baylor was. Colorado will always have everything of theirs put on a pedestal as long as Deion is there.

I don't know what the hell Vegas was thinking on that spread. If you can't pressure Sanders, he is going to eat you alive.

UCF still looks like a G5 defense both schematically and from a talent standpoint. And they can't rush the QB at all. CU is going to destroy that caliber of opponent each and every week.

UCF is going to lose 6 or 7 more games as their defensive front 7 continues to get exposed.

The formula for beating CU is still the same. You have to put Shadeur on his ass. Baylor is hot garbage, but they nearly beat Colorado because they were able to ratchet consistent pressure.

Oklahoma State, KState, and Utah all have good pass rushes that will give CU fits.

Teams like the Arizona schools, Texas Tech, KU and Cincinatti will struggle getting pressure and those games will be very winnable for CU.

and any offense led by KJ Jefferson is going to have some issues, tough dude, but he does not see the field well in the passing game.

I think Arizona will give Colorado problems, they had a pass rush last night.

Surprisingly not close to being ranked. 1 point in AP and 9 in coaches.

RE: Colorado & the "national media." I think people are confusing TV personalities like Keyshawn, Ochocinco, Shannon Sharpe etc with actual AP voters.

AP voters are like Brett McMurphy times - not likely to be Deion superfans. Here's some AP ballots. Guys in Cheyenne, Opelika, Boise, Cedar Rapids.

This is not the type of crew you'd see falling for Deion's BS. And you can see here no one did.

It's always interesting looking at this. San Jose guy has us at 13th.
