When I lived in Lincoln it was exclusively super saver because I was a poor college student.

Growing up in Lincoln we always shopped at Russ’s. Does that still exist?

Just found an IGA down here in Port Aransas Beach, Tejas. Pretty solid store for a little beach community.

Port Aransas is pretty solid as far as the western gulf goes. It’s nothing like the Florida gulf coast, but nothing in Texas is - Port A is the best we have.

I haven’t been down there since Hurricane Harvey pretty much destroyed it back in 2017. Hopefully it’s been rebuilt better than ever.

I miss HEB's down in Texas.

They are finally expanding into DFW. Just got one up here in Frisco that opened a few months ago. It’s awesome. They also opened one in Plano and I think McKinney (or opening soon?), and I think Fort Worth is coming too.

It’s in pretty decent shape. Found a couple of fun bars and good spots to eat.

We chartered a boat yesterday for 12 family members. Brought our own food, snacks, beverages, etc.

Ended up 7 miles out, fishing mainly for red drum. Caught 8 beauties for a total of 145 lbs of fish. Average size = 18 lbs. Such a great day. Great captain and deck hand. Gave them well-deserved tips…….😎💰

Used to work at the hyvee meat dept off Old Cheney in high school. The restrooms at that hyvee quickly became one of my favorite places to poop. I could just be driving by, suddenly get the urge to poop and run inside.
