I follow college football too religiously to trick myself into thinking 2022 Matt Rhule is a better hire than 2022 Luke #2ndChoice.

Ok now you're just talking crazy. You can't put Rhule TBD and #2ndChoice at one when neither has done anything in the conference yet. In fact, last time #2ndChoice was in the B1G, he was awful with a more talented team than he has now.

Also possible our hire forced their hand. It was certainly going to be hard to stand pat on the novice coach who didn’t fare very well when one of your rivals just enters the top of the market.

Yeah I like them both equally. They both seem like the type that is made for the Big ten. Time will tell who is better. I’m just as happy with Rhule as I would have been with #2ndChoice. Rhule seems slightly better suited for us based on the need to totally rebuild and his history of doing so.

This is where I'm at. I think Rhule is what we need right now due to his experience with turning programs around.

As I stated, 6 of one, half a dozen of the other. I think they're both good hires, especially considering the pool to pull from.

The biggest thing I like with Rhule over #2ndChoice is that I think he will go down south to get talent. People can say what they want but the best players are down south.

#2ndChoice and Wisconsin will always be competing with the other Big 10 powers for their players.

Rhule and Nebraska will go down to the talent rich south to get athletes. Nebraska will have a much higher ceiling.
