Fair enough. As a greedy husker fan I would also love to see him as DLine and Collins, Lenard and/or the Georgia guy as DC.

Listened to the Audible podcast this morning. Mandel gives #2ndChoice an A+ and Rhule an A. Feldman gives Rhule an A+ and #2ndChoice an A.

Sounds like the consensus is we should be panicking.

Duck has shot up the tater totem poll with his shtick. His prompt engineering is basically “why is #2ndChoice better than Rhule” and spamming the board with whatever he finds.

But it’s worth it to add some context that Mandel and Feldman provided. Both were very high on these hires. Mandel had #2ndChoice higher because he rejected other jobs and he’s viewed as being a hotter commodity. That, plus what he’s achieved at Cincy in the AAC building it back to how it was under Brian Kelly.

Feldman had an interesting take that we’re playing with house money. That we are so beaten up as a program and a fan base that he’ll have a lot of room to do what he needs to do to get it done. Meanwhile at Wisconsin, they are going through a major shift and the first time the fan base and program will feel let down by their AD. I’m paraphrasing here, but in essence LF has a tougher gig to repair bridges and not given the freedoms to burn the house down. MKR is almost expected to burn it down.

I think the guy with the most pressure on him is Turd. If #2ndChoice ends up doing a lot better than Rhule it’s not going to end well for him.

Idk it’s not like they got beat any worse than any other 4 seed would have against Bama and they should have beat Georgia the year before in the Peach Bowl. That Cincy team was pretty good and had a lot of talent.

They had one win over a team with a pulse Notre Dame. Who was also overrated.

I was glad they put them in the playoff. They deserved a chance as much as anyone. Having said that Ohio St beats them at least as bad as Alabama did.

We will never know, but that OSU team didn’t play defense and Cincy did keep Bama’s offense in check. It definitely wasn’t one of Day’s best teams. Don’t get me wrong they were still good but they had flaws especially on defense. I actually think Cincy’s Covid team was better than last years team.
