Simpson is my favorite assistant solely because of how much he hates Tony White and it's impossible for me, as a fellow hater, to not respect that level of hate
Where are you seeing this? The White stuff was weird. He had a lot of success here but obviously didn’t want to stick around. I’d like to see the inner workings on that one.

Simpson left Nebraska and went to FSU and within 24 hours of Tone being rumored to be headed to FSU, he left and came back to Nebraska. I've seen it rumored they didn't get along, but I will admit I don't know with certainty he hates White.

Too coincidental for this sports reporter doe

Seems legit to me.

This is the quietest year I remember going into fall camp in a long time.

People aren’t talking much about the season yet. Even when I listen to podcasts people seem really hesitant to start talking positive.

I think there’s lot of reasons.

  • No spring game
  • Apathy after too many underwhelming seasons
  • Lack of content coming from the program
But I feel the best I have about this program in a long time. I think it’s time for all the good things they have done to payoff.

Give me a glass of that fall camp koolaid.

I'd prefer to be optimistic but this basically explains every season since 2009

My question is the same every year. And it’s not been up to par. Last year was probably the first year in awhile the OL has been actually improved.

What will it look like this year? I like Holgo. How will the offense develop and look going into this year. As it seems we have more weapons on the outside. And another year of improvement up front.

If that OL is good. Like. Top 5 of the conference good. That will make life a lot easier. Especially on defense as they break in some new guys up front. Control the game and/or score enough to get the opposition into a game where you know what’s coming.

It seems every year. The OL is touted as this vast improvement….mostly big Deab the dipshit and crew who don’t know dick anyways. But if they can improve as much as they did last year. Then I’m optimistic.

In your professional opinion as a ball knower, how much of a difference can an OC make with play selection to mask a trash line or make a mediocre line look good?
