Here's our possible depth chart for next year. We haven't gotten the transfer haul most of us wanted (so far at least) but we are at least adding mostly upperclassman with experience. We need to get old and stay old ala Indiana this year or Michigan in 2023.

The defensive depth chart is based on San Diego State's, which lists two DEs, a DT, and a NT. I have no idea where guys like Rogers or McGahee are supposed to fit in (I'm assuming they'll be backups at one of the DE positions?). We really need Davis to come back and add some bodies to our defensive line.

Overall we will probably have a pretty experienced starting lineup in 2026, but if this is what we are working with in 2026...woof.

Hoping a guy named Jessiah does well is a pretty tall ask though

Miami OH has a young guy - Brach Rice - RS sophomore year coming up. Played 313 snaps as a RS freshman. Came in as a LB, plays now as a 6'3 265 lb stand-up end.

Chambliss, Shavers, McGahee, Merritt, Jones, Hawthorne

I think Shavers will really benefit from Chambliss. Shavers really seemed to learn a lot from Bullock last year.
