Transfer portal rankings are fucking bogus. It's actually dumber than trying to rank a high school kid. All these rankings do is drive talking points for every schools Dean. They have more confirmation bias than a HS ranking and are a complete farce.

Last year James Williams was rated as a 4-Star transfer to FSU. If I remember right around the same rating as Princewill whose a 5-Star transfer this year by the way.

Last year James Williams was rated as a 4-Star transfer to FSU. If I remember right around the same rating as Princewill whose a 5-Star transfer this year by the way.

And not all lowly rated guys fail. Boerkircher was ranked 1835th in last year's On3 portal ratings with and 84.67 rating. A number of schools offered him more than we did, he selected A&M and played 481 snaps last season, and after a great senior bowl week he is being talked about as a guy who will get drafted,

The only guy we selected this year who wasn't rated with more ranking points than Nate had last year is the LS we took.

I agree with this…unless our guys are ever rated highly. Like PFF, these ratings are dumb unless they are favorable to us. Then they’re great!

I'll give you 247s Indiana rankings (I don't like On3's because they net what came in against what went out. 247 simply scores the incoming class)

Thank you, their 2024 ranking is similar to ours this year. Hopefully most of our guys are under the radar like indianas 2024 class

I mean we had the 13th ranked portal class last year, and it feels like most did not pan out.
