I think this is fair. It’s not common that a new scheme or new coach on the defensive side be brought n and it plays fantastic. I suspect we’ll be worse than we were last year which also wasn’t very good. We don’t need giant bodies like some folks think is required in a 335. We are big enough. The question is if we are good enough.

We have a lot to be excited about in Cam, Princewell, VCJ… and we’ll have a youth movement in the box, but they aren’t going to be all big ten yet.

I’m not worried about Sherman or Reimer. The rest are bottom half conference players. We’ll be better next year and the year after though.

I despise idiots on twitter that spout off stupid talking points that have no merit based on them playing a 335 defense in NCAA 2014 and getting gashed. That dude doesn't have a clue..."more space AND time" for the OL to open holes...lol. And the generic, LBs have to be fast and accurate tacklers....holy tater salad.
