2023 Off Season Thread

So people understand, this would make donations by individuals non-deductible. It should not affect business donations, which would be deductible as business expenses if for advertising, not as charitable deductions.

What it also does is make a 501(c)(3) collective fully taxable on all receipts, whether from businesses or individual, which is obviously a killer for the charitable/tax-exempt version of the NIL collective.

A CCM is an explanation of the government's view of the application of current law, so this affects collectives from their inception.
