#15 appreciation

Also had a dropped TD and would have been a TD if CB doesn't grab Banks in the endzone. So could have added another 60ish yards and 2 TDs.

Kid looks good. Tougher test next week.
Is it a tougher test? I'm not convinced that Colorado's defense is better than UTEP's. Colorado had the worst defense in the country last year, and nothing that I saw on Thursday makes me think they are too much better. Not that UTEP's defense was some fierce force, but I think it will be easier to run on Colorado than it was today. Which should open up some potential big plays for Dylan through the air.

Yes I think it will be tougher. Should be easy to run but CU left theiir DB's on islands and loaded the box against the run. Not expecting that against us. Maybe they know they're shit against the run and it will be similar. Not sure?

Another good thing about Dylan’s day, he took a total of exactly one hit. We gave up the one sack. He never ran the ball so he was never tackled otherwise. And I know he got pressured a few times, but I don’t remember him getting hit after a throw.

That’s the way you survive a season.

Do you expect it to be marginally tougher? UTEP might be a bad defense, but so is Colorado. I legitimately think Colorado might be the worst defense we see all year...

How can 1 player impact a team....Throw 19/27 for 238 and 2 tuddies, have a calm demeanor the whole game, have a presence on the field that your teammates feed off of...Dylan looked every bit the part today!! He made everyone better and play better. The team looks like they don't want to let each other down as opposed to other years where they didn't want to let themselves down.

What we saw today was a culture shift to the nth degree...
Agree with the above except the culture shift thing. He has a big role in it from a confidence part but Rhule has been working on that non stop since he got here.

It will be tougher because the offense will have pressure to respond when Colorado inevitably scores.

Colorados offense is wildly better than UTEPs. They will get their yards and scores. Sheduer Jimmy and Travis are too god

I'm not saying the game won't be tougher, I think it absolutely will be. I'm still slightly worried about the game.

My point is that I'm not convinced that this will be a tougher test for Dylan and the offense. Different, absolutely. But is Colorado's defense really that much better? I understand that they have Hunter at DB, but that defense doesn't scare me. Mazzccua, Scott and Benhart are going FEAST!

Kid is legit
We have 2 of the best receivers in school history on the roster bc of him (Neyor & banks). Both made plays today for TDs we’ve basically never seen WRs make before
& then there’s Jacorey… oh my is this kid going to be a weapon
We are so Fuking back.
Dowdell looks like he’s gonna be a stud..

Thanks Dylan. That audible he made in the 2nd quarter flipping the play 2x with the play clock running down resulting in Emmitt’s 40+ yard run tells u everything u need to know
He’s the messiah. We got a squad.
Really? It was UTEP.

The thing we have going for us against Sheduer is he likes to wait a little longer to get his receivers open. Last week he didn’t really get the ball out very fast. He’s going to have to get the ball out quick next week against our DL otherwise Nash & Ty are going to be skullfucking him all night. It looked to me like our defense actually is a little faster this year but that could also been just the competition.

Got it. I worry about getting into a track meet is all.

We need to tackle in space very well this weekend

100%! NDSU has multiple chances to stop a play for a short gain, only to take a bad angle or miss the tackle and it turned into chunk plays for Colorado. We need to be better.

Ok, so I'm not the only person that is sort of thinking the same thing?

I actually thought UTEP was fairly physical and sensed that they were about "equally as good" on defense as CU.

Think about it this way, we scored 40 points with our starting QB and starters on the bench for one full quarter.

It was more than a quarter. Play calls were very vanilla after we got up
