Raiola has not played a P4 defense as bad as UCLA's.

Like @SantaBarbaraSker has been saying, I'm happy for TJ and hope he does the same against Penn St and Cockeye, but the UCLA game wasn't some grand turning point for the offense or the team or the program. We beat a really bad team by 7.

Agree here but at the same time you can’t say that our wins against MSU, Maryland and NW were impressive either. All three are not very good teams at all and wins that we barely squeeked out.

I'll put this out there for Dylan staying/leaving. I don't care if you potato heads really care or not.

In short, what I'm saying is there is a lot more to him, "his brand" than just football. He has God first, family second, brothers third, football fourth. And he uses his football talents and brand to advance the kingdom. He has established and continues establishing it here in Lincoln and I believe that isn't something he'll walk away from.

I've talked to Dylan a couple times at church and on our sideline at a high school game. He attends my church and lives a block and half away from me. I've talked to a lot of people who interact with him and they all say the same thing about him. He believes his legacy is much bigger than himself and he's creating a brand to move that forward. I don't have a big personal connection to him, but we cross paths a lot. He attends a lot of the same things I do.

He's really strong in his faith and he prays about everything he does and listens to what God is telling him. He started and leads a bible study on the team which originally was 5-6 guys, and now expanded into other sports. Grew so much they had to split it off into smaller groups. They're really accountable to one another. The size of the post game prayer is a testament to how much he has helped grow faith within the football team. The brotherhood that he has helped lead out on has changed the lives of a lot of the team. Speaking with Ron Brown, he said this team is probably his most faith based driven team he's been around.

He started an annual Revival Night with our Church and has plans for several other events partnered with our Church over the next few years. Yes, he does have a superstar status in Lincoln, but it's a different type of status, he's looking to use his position in football to build the Kingdom of God and bring the younger generation to follow Jesus. The event was a few weeks ago and he brought up 10 other guys to share their testimonies. He's helping change people's lives through Jesus. He's not the typical college aged kid and I truly believe he's called to do that right here in Lincoln.

Maybe the best post I've read in a while, thanks @alt f4

i think the thing people are missing is that Nebraska hasnt been winning against those not very good teams for a decade.

Were not exactly in a position to be complaining about ugly wins, and Dylan has been a crucial part in getting to this point. Its a critical step in growth.

Very true, but those teams are all better than UCLA on defense. Michigan State was very much impacted by the elements as well. I think the only reasonable take on the QB situation is that we have to wait and see how these next two games go.

We've seen that TJ can be effective against bad teams. Now, let's see how effective he can be against good defenses.

It is a bit crazy. I know he's not a perfect QB, but he's a damn good one and led us on multiple game winning drives this year (how long has it been since we've been able to do that????). He's only worked hard and made himself better the whole time he's been here. He seems to be a great teammate and loves Nebraska.

I hope Lateef is great, but the best thing you can say is that although we don't have enough data, he did pretty well against one of the worst defenses we've played this year.

I just don't get how so many in the fan base are absolute ass towards him
Our schedule is unbelievably easy this year 😂😂😂😂 We act like he’s some great QB

Thank you, @HCFord1. I would respond to you, @Huskersballz, but I don't have anything to add to what Ford said. The debate is meaningless until we see the next two games.

Sayin only went to Ohio state because Raiola left.
They were in the same class
Sayin enrolled at Bama after Dylan has already committed here. And was committed to bama the entire time Dylan was committed to UGA. Sayin and Dylan has no impact on each other

So far we've played the 64th hardest schedule, and have the 15th hardest remaining. We'll probably end up around the 50th hardest schedule which is close to an average year over the last 12 or so years. It's an easier schedule, certainly, but it is not "unbelievably easy" as you would say. That would probably require an 80th or lower SOS.

Holy fuck @ this post.
You all are a bunch of soft serve mushy potato cucks for Raiola

It’s virtually the exact same group’s of guys catching the balls both games.

Emmett Johnson = Emmett Johnson
Hunter = Banks
Key is pretty much the wr version of Fidone so Key = Fidone

At best it’s a push from who each threw the damn ball to in both games.

lol what

Sayin doesn’t go to Ohio state if Dylan stayed at Ohio state
