It would be really curious if we didn't take Clayton as well because baby Raiola or as us Dune heads will call him Na-Dylan, is really unproven.
26 feels like a 2 qb class.
But I don’t see the Vanden Bosch boys making it to Lincoln. Especially with the new roster limits

Him keeping Dylan in the fold for 2 more years is worth his commitment alone. High School QB recruiting is pretty devalued in the portal era IMO. You basically get a new room every year.

As for Dayton, looks like he is still raw and growing but has a rocket arm. Could be a late bloomer. His stats dont look great, but he plays in Georgia. I'm sure you could drop him at Bellevue West and he would be racking stats up.

Don’t necessarily disagree, but winning the Buford job this year was a big step in his development. Not writing him off quite yet, because like you said, he has the arm talent. We’ll see what two years of high-level high school football can do for the kid.
Exactly. He’s developed differently than Dylan. While Dylan was far ahead of Dayton both physically and game experience-wise at this point in his career, Dayton will have the benefit of starting these next 2 years of HS then redshirting a year at NU before he has to compete for the starting job. 3 years of development is a lot of time to improve and mature both from a physical standpoint and a mental game rep standpoint. If he works as hard as Dylan he’ll be in good shape by the time it’s his turn to compete.

All while he has infinitely more resources to use than your average QB.

Was bored earlier today looking at GA 100 for 2025 and GA 50 for 2026 on rivals. I think 7 4 stars and 13 total on those lists for Buford, Dayton wasn’t one of those. Just unreal talent at one school. How badly would Buford beat a Nebraska all star team?
