I have to ask…if you’re snuggling them to bed, are you drinking that crown apple from a sippy? If so, this is next level parenting and I should take note. I’m currently finishing a four roses & sprite in a whisky glass while trying to convince my kids to stay in bed until I get there to snuggle.
Just in the recliner on the couch. Whiskey glass with slow sips. It was great. Eventually moved them to their room and fell asleep in there cause my son wanted a snuggle on his new bed, since he was still unsure of it.

Bump. Cooked steak, bacon wrapped asparagus, and twice baked potatoes on the Blackstone, had a day at the park, and now the kids are in the bath ready to settle in for the night. Life is good.

Was a great week. Wife and I just coming off colds. Started with a trip to urgent care. 5 yr old tested positive for Influenza A and strep, had fevers hitting as high as 104+. He had Monday off and missed the rest of the week of school.
Then within a day the 4 yr old and 2 yr old got fevers so they went to the dr. Didn’t test positive for anything but we got them tamiflu anyway. All three maintained fevers for 3 days hitting as high as 104.6.
The wife got a fever while I was at the dr with the younger two but she rebounded quickly. Then my “cold” got worse and I developed a fever, head congestion, chest congestion, hacking up a lung, etc….
2 nights ago I hit 103.6 and then broke it 2 hours later in a bad sweat. Still near 2 days later I am cold and ache like I have a fever but I don’t. Have more meds laying on the counter than you can shake a stick at and even had to create med schedule for everyone it got so crazy.
Anyway…..as long as the kids are safe and getting healthy I’m good getting all those snuggles.
Got to the park today and enjoyed the weather.
