Anywho, my .50 is home schoolin isn’t too shabby. i werent to a 1 room country school K-8th grade and im pretty sure you fvckin disphits would agree i came out on Top!!! Fvck!!

I can see one changing taste in what they like in the opposite sex, but not going full on gay due to societal influence. If they get influenced in that fashion, they were gay to begin with.

Homeschool or do private school OP. It's going to get worse before it gets better. My church and several others locally are exploring starting a private school and it's astounding the number of parents we've already heard from in your same position, who aren't part of any of the sponsoring churches.

My sister is gay and happily married and now thinks it's hilarious that she ever tried to "decide" to be straight and date guys in high school.

There are several homeschooled kids in our town. They all go to the same nut job “church”. The funny thing is the pastor’s brother-in-law teaches at the school. The BIL homeschools his kids…what a crock! Good enough to take taxpayer funded salary but, not good enough to trust your kids to be taught by your coworkers…also some of the kids that are “homeschooled” that go to this “church” have both parents working…I despise homeschooling. Parents are soft now and if a school tries to hold a kid accountable they either option to another district like a pussy or homeschool. Then, 10 years later they wonder why they raised a little bitch who still lives in the basement and can’t handle criticism cause words hurt you know…🤣

I don't think you are very in tough with the reality of the public school system. The homeschooling option has nothing to do with a lack of accountability. In fact, it's the opposite. The public school curriculum was a joke when I was in school, and it has only gotten worse with things like "No Child Left Behind." On top of that, give the Progressives credit - they have played the long game and over the course of 40+ years, they have completely infiltrated the schools system. Control the children, control the future. That has been their approach and it is killing it.

Maybe the small towns haven't been as affected by it yet. But it will happen. Just like Red states weren't as affected by it, but are now. This was 2 years ago, but I had a buddy who had a kid at Gretna. His daughter told them that they have a kid who is a wolf in their class - wears a tail, wears wolf ears and howls. The teachers and kids are not allowed to not treat him like he is a wolf. My buddy called the principal, who was a buddy of his, and the principal said it was completely out of his hands. He agrees with how ridiculous it was, but it was over his head.

I don't have a problem with most public school teachers and think most of the individuals are likely very good. But they system is the problem. I'm done with that system and want better for my kids.

We live in a small town. We don’t have those issues, if we did I’d run for the school board and insure we didn’t have those issues. Homeschooling is a joke. A family friend did it and had to go an extra year to get credits to graduate. He also couldn’t handle regular College cause it was too tough due to the social aspect. Yeah tell your kids to keep running from their problems. Lol

give me a fucking break hahaha this cannot be real. I have multiple friends and family members who are public school teachers and I have never heard of anything remotely close to this happening.

It's not running from your problems at all, brother. Public schools are just another example of big government. You're from a small town - why are you wanting the government to control your education?

And not all homeschooling is created equal. Sure, your family friend had issues with homeschooling - who knows why. We have a family in our church that homeschools and I'd say the same thing about them - they are socially awkward as hell and their older kids are struggling to adjust to the real world. But I also know plenty of others that are not that way at all. Homeschooling is evolving and I guarantee the picture that you have of traditional homeschooling is very different than the reality for a lot of the different available options.

I'm a public school supporter, but unfortunately, stuff like that is true. Now, it could happen anywhere (and I'm sure different schools would handle it differently), but my wife is teacher and knows of schools that have litter boxes in their bathrooms. It's interesting, forsure, but I'm not quite sure how it's the schools' responsibility. I know damn well teachers aren't telling their students that they can be wolves, dogs, cats... - it's happening at home and what they absorb while on their phone, etc...

At least my 0.02.

Granted I’m an old fart, but I always knew when a patient was home schooled before being told. Social skills were always off. And parents were over annoying as hell.
