How much did you have to pay over MSRP? I can find pretty much all of this very easily, but the Weller and Blanton’s (other than Weller SR) is usually around secondary prices.

I found some eagle rare at my local Publix for around msrp. Good to see supply is starting to catch up with demand
Antique 107 pick was $110, weller full proof pick was $150, and the blantons was $100. I wouldn’t have paid that for blantons but my buddy wanted it. I’m fine with the price on Weller. The ERs were $52. Got most at a liquor store right by ATL airport.
The $5billion expansion BT did a few years ago is starting the bare fruit.
Seen prices like that too. The wellers were both store picks so they had cases. They also had a blantons gold store pick but wanted $250 so I passed.
I did grab a Blantons Takara red the other day for $190. Probably too much but I’ve never tried one and never seen one for sale before.

God damn it you guys are making me want to go buy some good bourbon. Been wanting to start a collection what would be a good one to start with? I’m on a budget and live in south central Nebraska
Eagle rare is the best bourbon in the 40-50 range imo… just can be hard to find.
The only Weller I can find is Special Reserve. I have way too much of it at this point.
I did find a bottle of Colonial Taylor Small Batch. They wanted $110 but when they rang it up it was $75.

Four roses small batch is my favorite easily found bourbon. The Ben Holladay just posted is also very good. It’s made just north of KC and should be easily found in Nebraska.
I started with basil hayden. It was a lot cheaper when I started getting into it maybe 10 years ago. It’s a good starter bourbon that you can find anywhere IMO. I think it’s around $45 now. Their dark rye they came out with just a few years ago is an excellent rye to start with too. It doesn’t have the peppery taste that most ryes do, it’s a little more sweet.
