Deion is going to make them fire him and get every last penny he can out of CU. CU will want to negotiate his buyout so Prime will probably accuse some people of racism on the way out to make sure he gets 100% of his buyout.
If I’m the Colorado AD I’ve already hired a private investigative firm hoping I can Sharrone Moore his ass by next season’s end.
Couple that with the Browns D…and yeah, that would be my bet also.

They could fire him for cause if they wanted right now. I've told this story before but we have a Nebraska player on our team that did a visit there in year 1 of Deion and he didn't wasn't even there most the time. Showing up has to be in the contract somewhere.
Deion isn't going to get the 10 million elsewhere like you said, but I don't know if his ego can deal with getting fired.
As for Colorado, I think we all saw this coming. That football program and athletic department as a whole was on life support. Deion brough national relevance for 2 years, and a Heisman to Boulder. Was it worth it? I guess if those things don't melt as he burns it down on his way out like the joker, some would say it may have been.

If they have the goods on Deion what possibly would be stopping them from firing him with cause and starting their rebuild? Deion is just gonna dig them deeper into the abyss the longer they keep him. I mean, if I was in charge it would be a no brainer. I don’t even care who is available at this point. Any coach with a triple digit IQ that actually cares about coaching and teaching young men will be better.
You know more about the situation than me, but I feel like if they really had “the goods” on Deion he would’ve been gone yesterday. CU fans can’t stand him anymore, so it’s not like the admin has to worry about push back. 🤷♂️
