NICE!! I’ve been putting spare $$ into some stocks for quite a few years to build it up so I can buy my uncle out from the farm when he’s ready. Now my problem is going to be capital gains tax on them especially on my caterpillar stock when that time comes. There’s just no legal way that I’m aware of to defer or avoid those taxes like there is on farm ground if you swap acres (10-31). I don’t mind paying SOME taxes because that means I’ve made money but damn they make it hard sometimes.Correct. Don't have to pay out capital gains.
